Hawaii Stops Universal child health care?

Touted as once having the only Children Universal Health Insurance care in the country,  Hawaii has put an end to it at the beginning of November, citing budget shortfalls as the reason.  Catch the full Story Here 

This does not mean that needy children cannot get covered.  It is still fairly easy for economically challenged families to still get coverage for their kids without really being “poor”.  The standards for getting Medquest coverage for a child is not that low, and almost any family experiencing unemployment or temporary unemployment should be able to get coverage or temporary coverage through Hawaii’s Med Quest Division.
