With Hawaii being so proactive in making sure all kids have have health insurance there is NO excuse for having any child or teenager age 0-19  NOT having Hawaii health insurance.

    Yes,all children should have health insurance.The state government provides state quest plans for immigrant children too.Your child must be a registered Permanent Alien.Pregant Adult Permanent Resident Aliens are also covered thru the state until birth.Covering Kids website is very informative,dont rely on the Medquest chart,it may change.Call the Medquest office for application or the Covering Kids advocates are happy to assist you with an application.
